BENTONVILLE — A Pea Ridge woman was sentenced to four years in prison after she admitted she stole several thousand dollars and had sexual contact with a teenage boy.

Nicole Ann Hook, 33, pleaded guilty to sexual indecency with a child, a Class D felony, and fraudulent use of a credit card and failure to appear, Class C felonies. The Thursday plea was part of an agreement attorney Kathryn Moore reached with Carly Marshall, deputy prosecutor.

Hook was first arrested Feb. 20, 2013, in connection with the charge involving the credit card. She admitted she stole $29,149 from her grandmother, according to court documents.

Hook used two checks and 59 ATM withdrawals over five months to steal the money, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Hook was arrested Sept. 30 in connection with the indecency charge. Hook admitted she had sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy, according to court documents.

The failure to appear relates to Hook missing a court date.

Circuit Judge Robin Green accepted the plea agreement and Hook’s guilty pleas.

Hook must abide by a suspended-sentence agreement for six years after her release from Arkansas Department of Correction. She must register as a sex offender.
