Adrienne Adia McGill and Marshall Donte Jones were united in marriage at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, in Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs. Sandra Eldridge officiated.

Barbara and Willie Johnson of Sherwood are the parents of the bride. Her grandparents are Hattie Mae and the late Willie Johnson of Little Rock and the late Wendell A. Bell and the late Ida Mae Tayborn, both of Wrightsville.

The groom is the son of LaVern and Raymond Jones of North Little Rock. He is the grandson of Ann and the late Clyde Morgan of Little Rock and William and the late Lacerine Bell of Malvern.

A large arrangement of peonies and baby's breath was on the guest book table at the chapel entrance. Pews were decorated with bows of ivory lace and burlap.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a trumpet-style gown of ivory lace embellished with pearls. The bodice had lace cap sleeves and a cathedral-length train. In her hair, she wore an ivory peony with a pearl center. She carried an all-white bouquet of peonies, hydrangeas and gerbera daisies.

Kimberly Gadson of Little Rock was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ta'lor Johnson of Sherwood and Rachelle Smith and Taylor Fuller, both of North Little Rock. They wore knee-length mint chiffon dresses in the style of their choice and carried bouquets of baby's breath. Flower girl was Amaya Kindle of Sherwood.

Chris Kindle of Sherwood was best man. Groomsmen were Geoff Owens, Brandon Riedie and Trell Jenkins, all of Sherwood. Guests were seated by William Griffin of North Little Rock and Scott Dombroski of Little Rock.

A reception followed in the garden's pavilion, which was decorated with garlands of burlap, lace and mint and coral chiffon. Paper lanterns in wedding colors were hung from the beams. Guest tables were covered in white cloths with burlap runners. Centerpieces included antique books, small birdcages, white porcelain love birds and arrangements of baby's breath. Dinard Stuart assisted.

The bride graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a bachelor's degree in history and master's degree in public history with a concentration in archives. She was enrolled in the history department's honors program and a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Society of American Archivists, Alpha Epsilon Lambda and Phi Alpha Theta. She was also a recipient of the Little Rock Nine Endowment Scholarship. She is employed as an archival technician at the Arkansas History Commission.

The groom attended University of Central Arkansas in Conway and is an IT technician for the Pulaski County Special School District.

The couple will live in Sherwood after a wedding trip to Paris.
