The North Little Rock Fire Department was investigating a fire at a vacant building at the corner of West 22nd and Allen streets Tuesday.
Emergency personnel responded to the one-story structure about 2:30 p.m., according to Chief Phil Pounders. They were still on the scene at 4 p.m., when Pounders said the building would likely be a "total loss."
Pounders said the building has been unoccupied for some time and was last used as a church.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
