Fayetteville police are investigating after an employee at Panera Bread at 3638 N. Front St. told police a man came inside about closing time at 9:51 p.m., according to a news release. The man had a handgun and demanded money, according to the release.

No one was hurt during the robbery, Stout said. No money was taken because the clerk told the man she "did not have access to the money," according to the release. The man left without anything, Stout said, and fled on foot southeast behind the business.

The man was wearing a red Arkansas Razorback hoodie, a black bandana mask, blue jeans and white shoes, according to the release.
