Oktoberfest Set For Downtown Rogers

ROGERS -- Main Street Rogers will host Oktoberfest on Saturday in Frisco Park at First and Elm streets downtown.

A beer and wine tent will feature a selection of craft, domestic and imported beers, and a bratwurst lunch will be served to ticket holders.

The lunch menu includes a brat and German potato salad prepared by NorthWest Arkansas Community College Culinary School students. The $10 ticket also includes sauerkraut and a bottle of water. Only 400 brats are available.

The Craft Beer Experience will include more than 30 beers from around the region and the world. The cost includes a 5-ounce sampling mug to take home, and four hours to taste the beer. Armbands are $30 in advance or $40 at the door.

Entertainment from Frisco Stage will feature Ballet Westside dancers who will demonstrate the polka, the JM Polka Band, Whisky Menders and the Hilltop Willies.

Festivities are set for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
