Stephanie Brooke Ivy and David Kyle Bridges were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in the Cathedral of St. Andrew. The Revs. Jason Sharbaugh of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fort Smith and Jacob Lynn of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy and the late Stan Ivy of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Theda and Jean Matthews of Little Rock and the late Johnie Holloway of Alexander.

The groom is the son of Sharon and David Bridges, 7106 Lucea Road. He is the grandson of Mary and the late James Wagner of Little Rock and the late Wanda and Dixon Bridges of Fort Smith.

The altar held a large arrangement of fall flowers. Music was by organist Allan Pieroni, cantor Jaimee Jensen McDaniel and harpist Alisa Coffey.

The bride, escorted by brother-in-law Brent Beazley of Little Rock, wore a gown of re-embroidered French lace. She carried a bouquet of antique hydrangeas, freesia and craspedia.

Ashley Beazley of Little Rock, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer McCarron, Lauren Simmons, Dr. Kristin Wheeler and Ana Bridges, all of Little Rock; Sara Anne Gill of Searcy, cousin of the groom; and Dr. Casey Thurow of Conway. They wore cognac-colored gowns and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Campbell Grace Beazley of Little Rock, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Ring bearers were Jackson and Owen Barron of Little Rock, godsons of the groom.

Matthew Bridges of Little Rock served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Alan Udouj, Matthew Dempsey and Brian Barron, all of Little Rock; William Collie V of Nashville, Tenn.; Mark Wright of Charlotte, N.C.; and Jerry "Bucky" Carrington Jr. of Omaha, Neb. Guests were seated by Zachary Gill, cousin of the groom, and Brent Beazley, both of Little Rock; Chad Simon of North Little Rock; and Lt. Cmdr. Robert Stimis of Virginia Beach, Va.

A reception at the Junior League of Little Rock building followed the ceremony. Music was by The Rockets.

The bride graduated with distinction and a bachelor's degree in sociology/anthropology from Hendrix College in Conway, where she received a Ferris C. Baker Award for Public Service and Achievement. She has a master's degree in public administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is the chief development officer at the Museum of Discovery.

The bridegroom graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He has a master's degree in civil engineering from the university. He is a principal and a licensed professional structural engineer at TME, LLC.

After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, and Napa Valley, Calif., the couple will make their home in Little Rock.
