Sarah Elizabeth Solomon became the bride of Frederick Hart Davis at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana. The Rev. Beth Humphrey, chaplain at Groton School in Groton, Mass., officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Margaret and Dr. John Alan Solomon, 1015 Westcliffe Drive. Her grandparents are the late Mary Jo and George Sayre of Rogers and Sarah Edith and the late John Luther Solomon of El Dorado.

The groom is the son of Dr. Beverly Foster and T. Martin Davis, 315 Rock St. His grandparents are Jacob and the late Betty Jean Foster of Pocahontas and Beverly and Jerry Davis of Monticello.

The chancel was centered with a sunburst arrangement of green antique hydrangeas, hot pink and coral roses and orange tulips. Music was by organist R. Andrew Clark, vocalist Mark Thomas and violinists Diana Norwood and Jennifer Dalmas, violist Joni Rudak and cellist Evgeni Raychev.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of re-embroidered lace. She carried a bouquet of ivory and white roses.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were her sisters, Mary Helen Solomon of Nashville, Tenn., and Anna Blair Solomon of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Jane Murphy of New York; Mallory Kent and Jennifer Mehl, both of Houston; Sarah Kurrus and Claire Skinner, both of Little Rock; and Jane Miller of Murfreesboro, Tenn. They wore chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of white and cream roses.

Flower girls were Carly June Irvin of Texarkana and Carolina Kay Davis of Little Rock, niece of the groom.

Serving as honor attendants were Jacob Foster Davis of Washington and Charles Bevan Davis of London, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Aaron Harris, Jonathan Aronson and George Patrick Solomon, brother of the bride, all of Little Rock; James Colavita of Chapel Hill, N.C.; Harry Mayfield of Washington; Joshua Parkey of Nashville, Tenn.; and John Solomon of Fort Meade, Md., brother of the bride. Guests were seated by Jonathan Cloar of Washington; Malcolm Means of Little Rock; and Calvin Wicker of Spartanburg, S.C. Junior ushers were Samuel, John, James and Nathan Solomon, all of Fort Meade, Md., and nephews of the bride.

A reception at Texarkana Country Club followed the ceremony. Music was by The DMP Band of Memphis.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in human organizational development from Vanderbilt University in Nashville and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. She is a lawyer.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in history from Davidson College in Davidson, N.C., and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas law school. He is a lawyer with QualChoice.

After a wedding trip to Southern California, the couple will live in Little Rock.
