Church to host parenting classes
SPRINGDALE — Robinson Avenue Church of Christ will offer “Grace-Based Parenting” classes at 9:30 a.m. Sundays beginning Oct. 5. The six-week program will be taught by Trent Arnold, who serves as children and family minister at the church. The program is free. Baby-sitting will be provided for infants and classes will be available for children.

Caregivers’ seminar at St. Scholastica
FORT SMITH — Jillian Guthrie, a mental-health therapist, will lead a one-day workshop for caregivers Oct. 20 at St. Scholastica Monastery’s retreat center. The program will be “Healers in Balance,” and continued education units are available for participants in related fields.

‘Echoes’ to sing in Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE — The Gospel Echoes, a Southern Gospel quartet, will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at Central United Methodist Church. The free concert in the sanctuary will be followed by an ice cream social.
