FAYETTEVILLE -- A man was arrested Thursday evening in connection with rape and second-degree sexual assault of two girls.
Simon Hendrickson, 42, of 2001 River Ave. in Long Beach, Calif., was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $75,000 bond, according to an arrest report.
Hendrickson has been living in Fayetteville and is accused of raping the girls multiple times, according to the documents.
In Arkansas, rape is a Class Y felony when a defendant engages in sexual intercourse or sexual activity with someone younger than 14.
