Benefit Flag Football Game Planned

BENTONVILLE -- The Benton County Sheriff's Office Police Athletic League will host a team of former Arkansas Razorbacks in a benefit flag football game Sunday.

The game will start at 6 p.m. at Tiger Stadium at Bentonville High School, according to a news release.

A team of Sheriff's Office deputies will play former Razorbacks Jonathan Luigs, Michael Smith, Fred Talley, Broderick Green, Lucas Miller, Robert Johnson, Van Stumon and others.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children younger than 12 will be admitted for free.

There will be an opportunity for autographs and photos for the former Hogs at halftime and following the game.

Proceeds will go to educational scholarships, youth athletics, Christmas for Kids and other charitable endeavors the Sheriff's Office PAL program supports.
