The Everett Chevrolet Big Bass Tournament will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 4 at Beaver Lake.
Entry fee is $50 per angler and can be paid at Hook, Line and Sinker, Everett Chevrolet, Heartland Honda, Mobile Marine and McGaugh RV. The angler weighing the largest bass wins $5,000. Second-place big bass is $2,000. Hourly prize money from $400 to $100 will also be awarded. A drawing for an all-terrain vehicle will also be held.
The tournament is in partnership with the annual Beaver Lake Cleanup. All anglers must bring in an item of trash from the lake shore in order to weigh their fish.
The tournament benefits Economic Opportunity Agency children's house.
