I have a carry permit and have been a gun owner, on and off, since the Navy taught me how to handle a gun in the 1950s.
About the 9-year-old who couldn't control the Uzi her instructor was showing her how to handle, I feel terribly sorry for her. The poor child will carry the dreadful memory for the rest of her life. And I feel deeply sorry for the family of the dead instructor.
As for the parents of the little girl who sent her to the firing range for this instruction, I think they should be publicly hanged.
