NWACC board member resigns

BENTONVILLE — A member of the NorthWest Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees has resigned.

Amy Forrest submitted her resignation in July. The college formally announced her resignation Thursday.

Forrest cited increased family and work responsibilities as her reason for leaving, according to Evelyn Jorgenson, college president.

Forrest represented District 7 on the board. Her replacement will be appointed by the governor. Her term on the board was scheduled to expire at the end of 2018.
