SPRINGDALE -- Police identified Wednesday the victim of a stabbing that occurred Sunday.
Daniel Luna, 23, was being treated at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale on Sunday, according to Lt. Derek Hudson, public information officer for the Springdale Police Department. He was being treated for multiple stab wounds, which were not life-threatening, according to a Police Department news release.
The department received a call from the hospital at 9:57 p.m. Sunday. Police determined the incident occurred near the intersection of Backus Avenue and Pleasant Street a few minutes before the call from the hospital.
Officers were still investigating the incident Wednesday, Hudson said.
