Springdale Police Investigate Hardee's Robbery

SPRINGDALE -- Police are looking for a suspect after Hardee's restaurant at 401 S. Thompson St. was robbed Monday.

The Springdale Police Department received the 911 call at 8:53 p.m. Monday, according to a news release. A man entered the restaurant, told employees he had a weapon and demanded money. No weapon was shown.

He left the restaurant with an unknown amount of money. No one was injured during the incident, said Lt. Derek Hudson, police public information officer.

Witnesses described the man as a white and in the late 30s to early 40s, according to the release. He's slender and 6 feet, 2 inches to 6 feet, 4 inches tall. He had dark brown and gray hair, and a few day's growth of facial hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and dark colored pants.

Detectives are investigating the incident, Hudson said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Springdale Criminal Investigations Division at 479-750-8139 or the tip line at 479-750-4484. People can give information or tips anonymously.
