Two arrested in connection with Rogers marijuana operation

BENTONVILLE — Two Rogers residents were arrested Tuesday in connection with a marijuana growing operation that was seized by Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Deputies recovered more than 70 pounds of marijuana, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

Detectives executed a search warrant at 711 N. 28th St. in Rogers and uncovered an indoor growing operation, according to the release. Detectives discovered the marijuana in various stages of cultivation. Drug paraphernalia also was confiscated, according to the release.

David Brown, 36, and Sarai Long, 42, both of Rogers, were arrested in connection with the case. They are being held in the Benton County Jail awaiting bond hearings. Their arraignments are set for 8 a.m. Dec. 8 in Circuit Judge Brad Karren’s court.
