Razorbacks receive votes in preseason poll

— Arkansas received eight vote points in the preseason coaches' poll, which was released Thursday.

The Razorbacks were the third-highest SEC team to receive votes in the poll. Kentucky is ranked No. 1 in the preseason and Florida is ranked No. 7.

Arkansas is scheduled to play four games against teams ranked in the preseason top 25. In addition to Kentucky and Florida, the Razorbacks will play nonconference games against No. 14 Iowa State and No. 22 SMU.

Arkansas is coming off a 22-12 season, which ended in the second round of the NIT. The Razorbacks opened practice last Tuesday and are scheduled to play their first game Nov. 16 against Alabama State.
