Fayetteville — A man charged with capital murder in the shooting death of his father pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Washington County Circuit Court Wednesday.
Sam Hill, 26, of 1693 S. Morningside Drive in Fayetteville, is accused of shooting his father, Allen Hill, 61, of 12397 S. Whitehouse Road, near Elkins, on August 20.
Hill was given an initial trial date of Dec. 10, but it is likely the case will not be ready for trial that soon. He is being held at the Washington County Jail with no bond set, which is typical in capital murder cases.
