Jazz trio The Bad Plus -- bassist Reid Anderson, pianist Ethan Iverson and drummer David King -- will perform at 8 p.m. today at South on Main. The ensemble's first Little Rock performance will inaugurate the Oxford American's four-concert 2014-15 jazz series at the club.

On Aug. 26, it released its 10th studio recording, Inevitable Western, a collection of original music; it also recently released a jazz version of Igor Stravinsky's ballet The Rite of Spring.

Tickets are $30 for reserved seating at a table, 20 for general admission (barstools to single chairs and standing room). Doors open at 6 p.m.
