Where I live: We live in the Sunset Hills neighborhood just right off the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, so we're within walking distance. The elementary school where our kids go is just right down the street. We like the accessibility -- that we can walk to campus and then down to Dickson Street if we're feeling extra energized. We are on the side of the hill so we have a fabulous view, especially now, when the leaves are falling.

Occupation: Executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas. I started here July 1. What I really love about Big Brothers Big Sisters is the mentoring component. We're providing direct services to kids and families. While the community is very generous, the need is growing. We've had a lot of school districts reaching out saying "Hey, we need some extra mentors."

My favorite space: Our dining room.

Why? We've got big front windows that look out over our lawn, and you can see the hills out beyond that. I love that space just because it's a gathering point for our family. We do dinner there every night and homework. In that space, we do a lot of living. We've got family pictures on the wall and some artwork that's meaningful to us.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Paint and add crown molding.
