First United Methodist Church was the setting at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, for the marriage of Taylor Catherine Williamson and James Thomas Wess, who goes by J.T. The Rev. Christopher Cooper officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Bonnie and Gaines Williamson of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Peggy and Frank Taylor and the late Catherine and Samuel Williamson, all of Pine Bluff.

Parents of the groom are Lafarrel and the late Betty Wess of Harrisburg. His grandparents are the late Goldie and Ira Wess of Harrisburg and the late Marguerite Sullivan, the late Martha Petroff and the late Ray Holmes, all of Trumann.

The chancel held two large urns of white hydrangeas, garden roses, larkspur, dahlias, calla lilies and corkscrew willow. Music was by organist John Churchwell and soloist Tim Tucker. Assisting with program were Scottie Taylor and Kathryn Stewart, cousins of the bride.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of pleated natural silk overlaid with Alencon lace. The fitted bodice had a sweetheart neckline, lace sleeves and a pleated silk cummerbund at the waist. The full skirt extended to a cathedral train. She carried a cascade of white garden roses, miniature calla lilies, dahlias and hydrangeas.

Matron of honor was Lauren Fulbright of Conway. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Catalina and Kristen Kosmitis, both of Fayetteville; Allyson Lowery of White Hall; Vanessa Marler of Plano, Texas; and Megan McCafferty of Washington. They wore brown sugar-colored bobbinet gowns with bateau necklines and vintage brooches. They carried bouquets of white garden roses, dahlias, miniature calla lilies and hydrangeas.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Wimpy of Little Rock; Taylor Catalina of Fayetteville; Kyle Garrison and Brett Carwell, both of Jonesboro; Patrick Johnson and Stephen Jones, both of Rogers; and Dylan Carpenter of Batesville.

A reception at the Clinton Presidential Center followed the ceremony. Tall glass cylinders on the buffet held arrangements of roses, lilies, dahlias and corkscrew willows. Music was by the Brenda and Ellis Band.

The bride has bachelor's and master's degrees in communication disorders from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is a speech language pathologist at Wendy Cassady Speech Pathology in Springdale.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the university and is an Enterprise Inventory Management team leader for Tyson Foods Inc. in Fayetteville.

The couple will live in Bethel Heights after a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
