• ConAgra Inc. has outbid Tyson Foods Inc. for Holly Farms Corp., leading the Nebraska-based food processor and Memphis, Tenn., company into another merger agreement. ConAgra announced Sunday its new $74.81-per-share stock offer was made late Friday afternoon after ConAgra and rival bidder Tyson could not reach a settlement. Holly Farms' board of directors unanimously approved the new agreement. ConAgra bid $1.38 billion, topping Tyson's $1.15 billion offer. The deal is subject to stockholder approval. Tyson attorney James Blair, meanwhile, vowed Sunday that the Springdale-based poultry processor will still pursue a Holly Farms takeover. • Two lady gorillas new to the Little Rock Zoo had their coming out party Friday, complete with formal, pink invitations and presents wrapped in pastel paper. Sekani, 13, and Catherine, 21, arrived in Little Rock last month from a zoo in Toronto. After a stay in an Ohio quarantine and a short adjustment period in Little Rock, the two primates had the animal kingdom's version of a red-carpet entrance Friday morning. Zookeepers welcomed the "gorilla girls" by adding a few feminine touches to the Great Ape exhibit, long a bachelor pad for Rocky, a male gorilla who died last year. On Friday, orange day lilies and wooden perches built in cool shaded areas awaited Sekani and Catherine, who were coaxed out of the shadows by a trail of fruit.
