3 struck with belt, mallet, report says

A Little Rock man was arrested Saturday after attacking his girlfriend and two teenage girls with a leather belt and rubber mallet, police reported.

Officers responded about 3 p.m. to a home in the 3800 block of Baseline Road. Harold Donahue reportedly had punched his live-in girlfriend in the face and struck her 15-year-old daughter in the face with a leather belt.

Donahue, 38, also is accused of striking the girl's 14-year-old friend in the back with a rubber mallet.

Further details were unavailable.

Donahue was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of third-degree domestic battery. He was being held in lieu of bond at the Pulaski County jail late Saturday.

of stabbing husband

A Little Rock woman was arrested Friday after purportedly stabbing her husband in the leg with a knife.

Ingram Murphy, 31, was charged with second-degree domestic battery. She was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at 31 Southern Oaks, where she and her husband, Lamarcus, live.

Further information was unavailable.

Late Saturday, Lamarcus Murphy's condition was unknown, and Ingram Murphy was being held at the Pulaski County jail.

liquor-bottle attack

A Little Rock man said his cousins beat him with a liquor bottle Thursday in front of his girlfriend, police reported.

Officers responded shortly before 3 p.m. to Baptist Health Medical Center, where Antonius Anderson, 28, was receiving treatment for numerous cuts and bruises.

Anderson told officers that he was visiting his girlfriend at her apartment in the 10000 block of Mara Lynn Road. Two of Anderson's cousins, brothers Walter and Wendell Withers, confronted him outside, according to a police report. The Withers brothers were accompanied by a man known as Arron.

After a brief conversation, the three men purportedly entered the apartment and attacked Anderson. He told investigators that he was held in a corner and repeatedly punched and struck with a liquor bottle in the head, face and arms while his girlfriend watched.

The men stole Anderson's backpack before fleeing in Wendell Withers' silver 2008 Toyota Camry, according to the report.

Wendell Withers is described as black, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 165 pounds and 20-25 years old. Walter Withers is described as black, 6 feet 5 inches tall, 200 pounds and 18-20 years old. Both were last known to reside at 1812 Rice St., police reported.

A detailed description of Arron was unavailable.

No arrests had been made by late Saturday.

Battery charges filed in LR scuffle

After purportedly fighting with two emergency medical workers Friday night, a Little Rock man police said was "extremely intoxicated" was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree battery.

At Eureka Gardens and Lee roads, Robert Simmons, 36, pushed a man and was then grabbed by a woman, according to an arrest report. Simmons fought to get away.

The woman suffered finger injuries, according to the report.

Police also found a "glass smoking device used for cocaine and marijuana" on Simmons.

In addition to the battery charges, Simmons, of 34 Welford, was also charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, obstruction of government operations and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He remained in Pulaski County jail Saturday in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
