Offices open to aid storm survivors

Five Disaster Recovery Centers are open in Arkansas for survivors of the April 27 tornadoes and flooding to meet face-to-face with representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and a number of other federal, state and charitable agencies to discuss registering for assistance and resources to support their recovery.

However, a visit to a center is not required to register for disaster assistance. Those affected by the storm can register online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by toll-free phone call to (800) 621-3362.
