Sale of PC sector a drag, more red ink forecast to flow

Visitors at Sony Corp.’s headquarters in Tokyo on Wednesday look at a liquid crystal display television. Sony reported a loss of $1.3 billion Wednesday for the fourth quarter.

Sony Corp. sank to a $1.3 billion quarterly loss in the fourth quarter hit by costs from selling its personal-computer business, and is forecasting more red ink as it struggles to execute a long-promised turnaround.
