A man wearing a fake beard has robbed a Northwest Arkansas business, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department. It is the third robbery in a week in which the suspect had a similar description.

The most recent robbery happened Wednesday at 6:02 p.m. at the Career Academy Of Hair Design, 346 E. Robinson Ave. The man came into the business, demanded money and gestured as though he had a gun, though no witnesses saw a weapon. The man was described as over six feet tall, about 180 pounds with sandy brown hair and brown or hazel eyes.

He was wearing a fake beard, a blue stocking cap, a blue shirt and blue pants. The description is similar to that of suspects in the May 8 robbery of a Dollar General and a Tuesday robbery of a gas station, both in Rogers.
