Police are searching for a robber after a Monday morning bank holdup in southwest Little Rock.

The robber walked into the Bank of America location at 5200 Geyer Springs Road shortly after 11 a.m., demanded that a bank teller give him money and then said he had a gun, said department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen.

The suspect, described as a 5-foot-10, 170-pound white man in his late 40s with light grey hair, wore a gray and black jacket, black shorts and a black hat.

The robbery remains under investigation.
