Fayetteville Police Investigate Ramay Junior High Bomb Threat

FAYETTEVILLE -- A bomb threat was written on the wall in a girls restroom at Ramay Junior High School, 401 S. Sang Ave., Sgt. Craig Stout said.

The message referred to an event to take place Monday. Students were evacuated while police and a University of Arkansas bomb dog searched the building.

Parents were notified Monday afternoon of the situation in an email from the School District, Alan Wilbourn, public information officer for the district, said.

Stout said the message was discovered Friday afternoon and the investigation is continuing.
