4 teens charged in home invasion

Four teenage suspects have been charged in what Little Rock police reported Thursday was a home invasion.

Officers responded about 1:30 p.m. to the 12000 block of Kanis Road, where the suspects purportedly had forced their way into a residence at gunpoint.

An officer driving west on Kanis spotted the suspects in a gray 2011 Toyota Camry that had been reported stolen, according to a police report. After a brief pursuit, the Camry struck the rear of another vehicle, and the teens fled on foot.

Officers formed a perimeter around the area, and a K-9 unit began tracking the suspects. Police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen reported shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday that each of the teens had been caught. They were apprehended one by one, the report states.

No injuries were reported.

The teens were each charged with aggravated robbery, theft by receiving and fleeing.

One of them, 15-year-old Tyler Jackson, was being held in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond late Friday.

The names of the other suspects -- two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old -- were unavailable. They were not listed on the jail roster Friday night.
