Walmart has confirmed two of the performers coming to Northwest Arkansas during the company's shareholders' week.
Country star Jason Aldean and classic rock act Foreigner will perform in Bud Walton Arena on the University of Arkansas campus on June 3-4, respectively. Cole Swindell will serve as Aldean's opening act. Foreigner will be joined by Styx and Don Felder.
Company spokesperson Molly Blakeman said tickets will be available to associates starting May 14 via Ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster outlets. Employees may reserve only two tickets. If any tickets remain on May 30, they will be offered to the general public, Blakeman said.
The performances come as a precursor to the Bentonville-based retailer's annual shareholders' meeting, which takes place June 6 in Bud Walton Arena. The company typically books marquee talent for that event as well, but those performers aren't revealed in advance.
