President Barack Obama visits with tornado victims Daniel Smith and his sons Garrison Dority (left) and Gabriel Dority on Wednesday in Vilonia. Smith welcomed the president, telling him: “Man, it’s good to see you, sir.”

President Barack Obama visited this tornado-ravaged city Wednesday, promising residents that they won't be alone as they rebuild their homes and businesses.

Family describes meeting Obama

Daniel Smith called it an "exciting ordeal" for him and his sons to meet Barack Obama Wednesday outside their Vilonia home, which was damaged in the April 27 EF4 tornado. (By Gavin Lesnick)
