"That was Gracie's sixth home run of the year and it couldn't have come at a more opportune time," Har-Ber coach Lynn Lawson said. "It put us back in the game and gave us a chance to win."

Emily Stockalper earned the victory with four scoreless innings in relief of Bogle, who started the game. Fayetteville starter Cortney Poole was in control until the fifth when Stockalper led off with a double. Hannah Sharum followed with an infield single then Bogle put Har-Ber (18-8, 9-4) ahead for good will a home run that just cleared the fence in left field.

"(The pitch) wasn't exactly where we wanted it, but I want to give credit to Gracie," Fayetteville coach Jason Shirey said. "Good players, good hitters, have a tendency to make things happen and that's what she did. But our kids played a good, solid ball game for the most part."

Maggie Mabry gave Fayetteville (10-17, 4-8) a chance in the seventh after she reached on a single and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt from Emma Koch. Poole flew out to left field for the second out and the game ended when Har-Ber catcher Tiffani Ray threw out a runner trying to advance to third.

"I was trying make something happen," Shirey said. "Maybe throw one into left field for us."

Fayetteville jumped ahead quickly after Taylor Crockett lined a hit to right field and circled the bases after an error. Mabry, the No. 2 hitter, followed with a single and scored on a groundout by Poole.

Emily Stockalper scored Har-Ber's first run from third when a line drive by Bogle was dropped in left field. She then went to the circle and allowed only one hit to help Har-Ber complete the comeback.

"Cortney threw an excellent game for them and they took the momentum early," Lawson said. "It was a tough game that could've gone either way. I proud of Emy, who came in and shut them down."

Kylie Buttram had two hits for Har-Ber while Mabry had three hits for Fayetteville.
