A make-it-and-take-it rain barrel workshop is scheduled for Saturday at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area.
Katie Teague and Janet Maginot of the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will teach the workshop. The barrels capture rainwater for use in yards and gardens.
The program is scheduled from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Visitor Center, just east of the Arkansas 12 intersection with War Eagle Road near Rogers. Cost is $25. Registration and prepayment are required.
