Naya Rivera is still a Gleek. “There is no truth to the rumor Naya has been fired from the show,” the Fox network said in a statement, adding, “She remains under contract to Glee.” Rivera plays Santana Lopez, a lesbian glee club member, on the popular musical drama. Before Glee actress Lea Michele arrived Saturday morning at the premiere of her latest film, the animated Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, a publicist for Michele said her client would not comment on co-star Rivera, the subject of numerous rumors and reports over the past week. But Michele did reveal that Glee had its fifth-season wrap party Friday night. It’s been a difficult year for the series’s cast and crew since the July overdose death of actor Cory Monteith, who had been romantically linked to Michele. “I have to say I owe so much to the cast of Glee,” Michele said. “Loss is a horrendous thing, and if it wasn’t for their constant support, and every day going to work and knowing that I had this safety net underneath me, has gotten me to where I am right now. So, I’m beyond grateful for Glee.” The show’s fifth-season finale airs May 20. Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has said the series’ sixth season will be its last.

Actor and comedian Cheech Marin said he and longtime comedy partner Tommy Chong might soon reunite on film. The Las Cruces Sun-News reported that Marin made the comments Friday while launching an exhibit of his art collection at the Las Cruces Museum of Art in southern New Mexico. The 67-year-old, known as one half of Cheech & Chong, said there have been discussions about starting a project within the next year. Meanwhile, the two have been touring together. An avid collector, Marin met with artists and local high school students before the exhibit’s opening. “Chicanitas: Small Paints from the Cheech Marin Collection” features 70 paintings by 29 Hispanic artists. Marin has plans to open similar exhibits in other cities as part of a “Chicanitas” tour, including one in France.
