Pulaski County voters wanting to avoid long lines and Election Day snafus can cast their ballots at eight locations around the county starting today. Election Commission members have been encouraging county residents to go to the polls early for months to lessen the load on poll workers and the county clerk’s office the day of the May 18 primary. A new state early voting law, passed in 2003, requires counties to hold early voting beginning 15 days before the election and hold Saturday voting two weeks before each election.
