SPRINGDALE -- A man was arrested Wednesday after police said a woman reported the suspect shot her up with methamphetamine then raped her.

Randy Harold Morris, 44, of 1004 Sherman St. in Springdale was arrested in connection with felony rape, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The woman told police she went to the Sleep Inn, 1056 Rieff St., to get methamphetamine from Morris, according to a preliminary arrest report. She told police Morris grabbed her, threw her on the bed and injected her. She said she didn't know what was in the syringe.

Morris zip-tied her hands then raped her, according to the report. She told a store clerk about the attack after Morris sent her to get quarters for laundry.

Police found marks on the woman's arms from the zip ties. A search yielded syringes and 0.25 ounces of methamphetamine, according to the report.

Morris was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday in lieu of $50,000 bond.
