Bob Hoskins, the late British film star, received a 2010 International Emmy Award for episodes of The Street that aired in 2009. A New York Times obituary for the actor that appeared in Thursday’s editions gave an incorrect year for the episodes.

Edie Brickell, arrested last week with her husband, singer Paul Simon, on charges of disorderly conduct, is 48. An item in Names and Faces in Tuesday’s editions, provided by The Associated Press and relying on information from police, erroneously reported her age.

Taher al-Nunu, a media adviser to the militant Islamist group Hamas, initially did not directly comment on recognizing Israel and said that any discussion about recognizing the Jewish state would happen in the future as part of Hamas’ efforts to join the Palestine Liberation Organization and form a government. A Washington Post article that appeared in Sunday’s editions misstated his comments. Al-Nunu has since said that Hamas would not recognize Israel.

A department at the University of Arkansas that received money from a Walton foundation for its research on charter schools and other education issues includes a faculty member recruited directly from a conservative research group. A New York Times article that appeared in some Saturday editions misstated how many faculty members were recruited from such research groups.
