Pulaski County workers will collect some debris from Sunday’s storms from the rights of way of county-maintained roads, according to a news release.

Residents must separate “green debris,” such as trees, limbs or shrubs, from other “demolition debris,” the release said. Green debris should be placed in the rights of way on public roads.

Residents should break down the debris into “manageable loads so as not to damage equipment during the removal process,” the release states. Residents also should be careful not to cover or impede access to utility meters.

Contractors are responsible for disposal of any debris that they handle, the release said.
