Legislation authorizing the spending of federal funds for the private option in the expanded Medicaid program during the fiscal year that starts July 1 requires Arkansas to secure federal approval by Feb. 1, 2015, for changes to the program. An article Friday about state officials updating legislators on the program omitted the year of the deadline.
