along. This is over. It is past. We’re moving on.The past is past and we’re ready to get on with a new stage in our lives and our city and trying to present the image of who we really are here now.” Harrison Mayor Jeff Crockett Article, 1BToday’s happenings

The all-night marathon will start just before sunset Saturday night and end at dawn Sunday. Attendees should bring a flashlight covered with a red cloth or balloon, binoculars or a telescope, warm clothing, a folding chair and chaise lounge, a star chart and snacks and drinks.

A classroom explanation of Messier’s objects will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by viewing at 7:30 p.m. More information is available by calling (479) 789-5000.
