Public Viewpoint: A Call To Support Pryor For Senate

Rep. Tom Cotton just married a lovely lady who complements him and has a comparable law degree, which will give them opportunities for competitive legal discussions. Tom’s military background, as well as the “R” identifying his political stance, add to his prospects regarding the forthcoming senatorial election.

My advice to seniors, however, is to beware, regardless of your politics. Tom, a supporter of the “present day” Tea Party, helped shut the government down, costing us $24 billion. Too, he supports privatizing both Social Security and Medicare. Apparently, Tom doesn’t have grandparents or enough sympathy for the elderly, especially those who suffer mild dementia and who would experience difficulty handling “vouchers” — to instead devote to time to eliminating the congressional practice of raiding the Social Security Trust Fund or work at finding ways to benefit Medicare.

(Sen. Mark) Pryor has consistently held up seniors during his political career, and I hope constituents and all voters will consider his years of experience and his voting record, which has represented all of Arkansas voters and benefited them.
