A man was killed Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Malvern, Arkansas State Police reported.
Kenny Loyd, 60, died after a pickup hit the rear of a Buick Century in which hewas a passenger. Both vehicles were traveling north on Arkansas 67.
The driver of the Buick, Loyd’s wife, had stopped the car to make a left turn when it was struck from behind about 4:45 p.m.
Tonya Loyd, 50, and the driver of the pickup, 24-yearold Kyle Sumler, were taken to Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton for treatment. Conditions were clear and dry when the crash occurred, according to state police.
