HUGHES - Steve and Barbara Bernard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with family and friends at the Memphis Country Club. The couple were married March 22, 1964. She is the former Barbara Ellen Lunsford and is a retired teacher from the Hughes School District. He is a farmer. They are the parents of Butler Bernard and Beth Mills, both of Memphis, and Bill Bernard of Horseshoe Lake. The couple have six grandchildren.
