• Robert William Roughton, 41, of 812 Durham Place in Bentonville was arrested Monday in connection with a parole violation and misdemeanor failure to appear. Roughton was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Bentonville

• Joe Adam Serrna, 29, of 4232 Arkansas 63 East in Green Forest was arrested Monday in connection with interference with custody. Serrna was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

• Donald Cotton, 46, of 907 Mockingbird Lane in Springdale was arrested Monday in connection with filing a false report of criminal wrongdoing and parole violation. Police said he lied Sunday night when he told them two men had robbed his girlfriend and shot at his car. Cotton was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

• Kendra Smith, 20, of 2015 N. Birch Ave. was arrested Monday in connection with possession of a controlled substance. Police say Smith had several oxycodone pills in her car. Smith was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

Prairie Grove

• James Hardman, 47, of 815 Herron St. was arrested Monday in connection with aggravated assault, interference with emergency communications, parole violation and other misdemeanor assault charges. Hardman was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,145 bond.

Springdale

• Lucas Karl Myler, 23, of 13248 Schoolhouse Drive in Lowell was arrested Monday in connection with felony residential burglary. Police said Myler was identified as the person that burglarized a house on Grainger Street. Myler was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $78,500 bond.

• John Earl Carter, 53, 2001 S. Powell St. No. 4 was arrested Saturday in connection with felony second-degree domestic battery and misdemeanor second-degree assault on a family member. Police said Carter flipped over a chair where his blind girlfriend was sitting then hit her nephew with a club. Carter was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $3,500 bond.

• James Avon Hill, 49, of 1112 E. Harvard St. in Siloam Springs was arrested Saturday in connection with felony sixth offense driving while intoxicated. Police said witnesses saw Hill inhaling the spray from an air duster can. Hill was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

• Amber Bell, 24, of 3165 Rockford Drive in Fayetteville turned herself in Monday in connection with theft of property. Bell was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

• Christopher Cozine, 31, of 600 Hardin Place in Little Rock was arrested Monday in connection with forgery. Cozine was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

• Billy Smith, 32, of 84 E. Seventh St. in Fayetteville was arrested Monday in connection with theft by receiving, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Smith was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center with no bond set.

• David Karst reported at 10 a.m. Friday the theft of a car-hauling trailer, air compressor and a box of tools from 13433 Kistle Road in Rogers.

• David Jones reported at 7:27 p.m. Friday that a Snap-on wrench was stolen from 19733 Jewell Drive in Gravette.

• A TV was reported stolen Sunday afternoon from 1600 E. Rolling Hills Drive.

• An assault was reported Sunday afternoon near 4142 W. Songbird Place. The caller said a man broke her nose.

• A burglary was reported Sunday evening at 401 S. Lewis Ave.

• Two callers reported hearing gunshots Sunday evening near 3480 E. Hunstville Road.

• A break-in was reported Monday morning at 1607 N. Lonesome Dove Drive.

• A break-in was reported Monday morning at 4494 W. Patrick St.

• A Cadillac truck was reported broken into Monday morning at 3375 N. Stratford Drive.

• A stolen wallet was reported late Monday morning near 227 W. Dickson St.

• A theft was reported around noon Monday at 2255 N. Windswept Lane.

• A break-in was reported around noon Monday at 3449 W. Chevaux Drive.

• A break-in was reported Sunday at 1600 W. Persimmon St., No. 11. A radio was reportedly stolen Saturday night.

• A wallet was reported stolen Sunday at a fuel station, near the intersection of 46th and Walnut streets.

• Theft was reported Monday at 4889 W. Pauline Whitaker Parkway.

• Theft was reported Monday at 1805 W. Wood St. Items were stolen from a boat parked in the carport.

• A burglary was reported Monday at 2002 S. Dixieland Road. A home and garage were broken into and items were reported missing.

• A burglary was reported Monday at 2008 W. Craig St. Someone attempted to enter the home through a back door.

• Melissa Jackson reported Monday an attempted break-in at 2568 Jean St.

Accidents

Rogers

• A 46-year-old woman was transported to Mercy Hospital at 4 p.m. Friday after a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 540 near the Walnut Street exit. A man complained of shoulder pain and possibly a broken ankle.

• A 42-year-old man complained of head pain and a 56-year-old man had an ankle injury after a multi-vehicle collision at 4 p.m. Friday on Interstate 540 near the Pauline Whitaker Parkway exit. Both people were transported to Mercy Hospital.

• A 17-year-old girl had a head injury and a 45-year-old woman had chest pain after a vehicle collision at 6 p.m. Friday at 4200 W. New Hope Road.

• A 62-year-old man had an altered mental status after a vehicle collision at 3:15 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 540 north of the Pauline Whitaker Parkway exit.

Fire

Rogers

• Firefighters responded at 9 a.m. Sunday after a power pole caught fire near the intersection of 53rd Street and Stoney Brook Road. The fire was three-fourths up the pole and burning through it. Traffic was stopped in both directions until Carroll Electric Cooperative Corp. employees arrived. The employees de-energized the lines and used a water can to put out the fire.

Rogers

• Firefighters responded after about 10 gallons of gasoline was dispersed over a 20-foot-by-20-foot area at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at Walmart Neighborhood Market, 5000 W. Pauline Whitaker Parkway. Firefighters and the manager used a substance to solidify the liquid, which was shoveled into bags for proper disposal.
