The couple were married on March 25, 1944. They are the parents of Sampy Jones and have two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

STUTTGART - Louine and Bob Leech have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. The couple were married March 22, 1942. She is the former Louine Selman and a retired business teacher from McGehee High School. He is a retired retail grocer. They are the parents of Bob Leech Jr. of Hot Springs, Mary Johnson of Alexandria, Va., and David Leech of Stuttgart. The couple have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

FORDYCE - Shirley and Larry Pierce have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married March 9, 1954. She is the former Shirley Fite. He is a retired timber dealer. They are the parents of Regina Cobb of Fordyce, Debbie Mitchell of Hot Springs and Jill Ryder of Conway. The couple have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Helga and Leo Mullens of Little Rock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 8 with a family dinner and will take a second honeymoon. The couple were married March 17, 1964. She is the former Helga Richter and is retired from Mullens Garage. He is retired owner of the garage. They are the parents of Michelle Mullens of Sherwood; Rebecca Berkley of Tyler, Texas; and Monica Mullens Warren of Little Rock. The couple have five grandchildren.

BEEBE - Edwana and Royce Daniel will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. March 23 in First Christian Church with a reception. The couple were married March 26, 1964. She is the former Edwana Strayhorn and a retired teacher and counselor from Beebe Public Schools. He is a retired teacher from Beebe Public Schools. They are the parents of Walt Daniel of Beebe and David Daniel of McRae.

Patty and Doug Lowe of Little Rock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to New York. The couple were married March 8, 1964. She is the former Patty Lasater. He is vice president of Stephens Insurance LLC. They are the parents of Richard Lowe of Oxford, Miss., and have four grandchildren.
