Two arrested in Rogers blowdart attack

Two teenagers were arrested Friday in connection with a blowdart attack Wednesday, according to a news release from the Rogers Police Department.

A woman jogging early Wednesday evening near 28th Street and Bellview Road was hit in the abdomen with a blowdart about 3 inches long, according to the news release, and sustained minor injuries.

The teenagers, ages 16 and 17, were arrested in connection misdemeanor third-degree battery. Keith Foster, police spokesman, said they were shooting darts out the window of a vehicle and accidentally hit the woman.
