— Arkansas forward Bobby Portis was honored with a pair of postseason awards Tuesday.

Portis was named second-team all-SEC in addition to the league's all-freshman team. Portis is averaging 12.4 points and a team-high 6.6 rebounds per game this season for the Razorbacks. Last month he broke the school record for points in a game by a freshman, scoring 35 in a win over Alabama.

The Little Rock native is the sixth Arkansas player to earn all-SEC honors as a freshman. The others were Scotty Thurman, Corliss Williamson, Joe Johnson, Patrick Beverley and BJ Young.

No. 1 Florida nearly swept the SEC's individual awards by winning coach of the year (Billy Donovan), player of the year (Scottie Wilbekin), scholar-athlete of the year and defensive player of the year (Patric Young), and sixth-man of the year (Dorian Finney-Smith). Kentucky's Julius Randle won the league's freshman of the year award.

Wilbekin and Randle were named first-team all-SEC alongside Alabama's Trevor Releford, Florida's Casey Prather, LSU's Johnny O'Bryant III, Missouri's Jabari Brown and Tennessee's Jordan McRae and Jarnell Stokes.
