Fire damages Springdale house

A fire damaged a house 2303 Sandy St. in Springdale early Tuesday afternoon.

Nobody was home and there were no injuries from the fire, said Capt. David Kissinger of the Springdale Fire Department.

The fire damaged the kitchen and attic. The call came at about 1:38 p.m., and the fire was under control just after 2 p.m., Kissinger said.
