Boil Order in Place for Some Rogers Residents

Tuesday, March 11, 2014

— Some Rogers residents are under a boil order, which is expected to remain in place until at least Thursday.

The break occurred near the intersection of Sayre Lane and Second Street about 12:40 p.m. Monday, according to William Evans of Rogers Water Utilities.

The boil order affects residents and businesses on both sides of Second Street between Stratton and Yocum roads. Residents of Northern Heights subdivision are not included, Evans said.

Residents should boil all water used for drinking or cooking vigorously for 5 minutes before consuming it, Evans said.

Tests will be taken each day until the water passes Arkansas Health Department requirements.
