Christian Women

"Wander As We Wonder" is the theme of the Bella Vista Christian Women's Club brunch from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd.

The feature will be videographer Dustie Meads. The guest speaker is Gayle Hicks of Wichita, Kan., sharing her story "The Path to Perfect Peace."

An all-American style breakfast buffet is served for $10.

Women's Golf

The Bella Vista Women's Nine-Hole Golf Club will host a welcoming brunch on March 24 at Riordan Hall. A $10 prepaid reservation is required by March 17. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with brunch at 9:30 a.m.

Iota Alpha

Bella Vista Iota Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will meet Wednesday at the home of Mary Kay Lang, 40 Elizabeth Drive. Social time is at 9:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 10 a.m. Mary Frizzell will present the program. This month's service project will be collecting snacks for the Cooper Elementary Snackpak program.

On Friday, Iota Alpha will entertain the members of Laureate Alpha Gamma by hosting a potato bar at Village Insurance beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Laureate Alpha

On Wednesday, the Laureate Alpha Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will host the Laureate Beta Alpha Chapter with a luncheon at the home of Suzann Wresche, 15 Breton Way in Bella Vista. The luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by a special program presented by members of the host chapter.

Laureate Alpha Mu Chapter will celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a dinner March 16 hosted by Jean and Fred Jones, 2 Teresa Drive in Bella Vista. Social hour will begin at 5 p.m. with dinner to follow.

Hiking Club

Hill N Dale Hiking Club of Bella Vista will travel about 20 miles to Big Sugar Creek State Park in southwest Missouri on Wednesday. Members will meet at Harps' upper parking lot at 9 a.m. in order to carpool to the hike. They will share a meal after the hike. Nonmembers are invited.

Ozark Highlands

The Ozark Highlands Trail Association will meet at 6 p.m. today at the Washington County Extension office, 2536 McConnell Road in Fayetteville. The program will be presented by Guy Headland, registered landscape architect for the National Park Service Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance program.

There will be an information trail conversation, news, short business meeting and program.

QUILT

Heather Thomas, a nationally known quilter, will be the speaker at the March 27 meeting of Quilters United in Learning Together. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2898 S. 48th St. in Springdale.

Thomas will speak about setting up a functional, creative work space. She will also discuss what she thinks are the most important products/items quilters need, share ideas on assembling a fabric stash and how to get over creative slumps.

Women's Connection

"Facing Forward" is the theme of the Christian Women's Connection luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at AQ Chicken House, 1925 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville. Jamie Graham from Dillard's will present an Estee Lauder demonstration. Speaker will be Gayla Hicks from Wichita, Kan., on "The Path to Perfect Peace."

Preceptor Alpha

Republican Women of Bentonville will meet Thursday at the Bentonville Public Library, 405 S.
